About Boone Trace

B
oone Trace is a community of 325+ homes located just a mile off I-40 at exit 192.

There's lots to do in and around Boone Trace.  A walking trail is located behind Beautiful Valley Drive and has several accesses to Beach Creek.  It ends at the Harpeth River. The path is mowed about once a week.

A playground has recently been added to the community.  We have a great climbing gym with swings, merry-go-round and spring toys.  Our newest addition is a basketball court and hoop.

The Riverwalk Greenway is located in the Riverwalk subdivision, down the street from Boone Trace. The Greenway follows the Harpeth River, with accesses down to the river.

Hidden Lake State Natural Area is located north of I-40 on the west side of McCrory adjacent to the Veterans Cemetary. There is a walking trail to and around both Hidden Lakes with an optional rock climb next to one of the lakes. There is also a short walking trail to the Harpeth River.

Newsom Mill is located down the street on Newsom Station. Going away from the subdivision, take a right directly past the one lane railroad overpass. There are bench tables and grills for cookouts, and access to the Harpeth River.

Natchez Trace Parkway is a 444 mile stretch of highway through Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi. Connection to this parkway is located south of I-40 on McCory Lane and on Highway 100. There are numerous trails along the parkway.
